The Challenge
The restaurant needed a seamless online ordering experience capable of handling complex combinations while preventing fraudulent 'ghost' cash-on-delivery orders. Furthermore, kitchen staff required an instant, real-time board to track order statuses.
The Solution
Engineered a robust role-based Next.js application backed by Supabase Realtime to instantly sync orders to the kitchen display. Implemented a 3-strike penalty system that forces online payment via YouCan Pay if a user abandons too many COD orders.
